| My mother is in the procedure of receiving the Voucher simply because she is 94 years old she needs a live in care giver. I have iii sisters and we share and alternate responsibilities. I sister lives in another land and comes often to live with our mother for a couple of calendar month and goes back and forth. Can her name be added to the lease while she has her place elsewhere? OK, she really should be living with ane of you, instead of the taxpayers paying for her, but okay, the taxpayers will help her. This does NOT hateful that one or more than of y'all now only got rental help for yourselves for the rest of your lives. No, your sister cannot be on the voucher while she has another identify to live. No, she cannot exist on the voucher and inherit it so that she can be on rental assistance for the rest of her life. In fact, her trying to combine her household with your female parent's may endanger the female parent's eligibility for Section 8, if the daughter has any income or assets. You volition each proceed to alive as y'all had been, and when your mother doesn't need rental help anymore, she won't go information technology anymore. If any of you feel that you would qualify for Section eight, I suggest that you apply for yourselves, and get in line. The wait shouldn't be over a decade. |
